Getting online and increasing your charity fundraising is easy, having helped many charities since 2002 to secure their own payment gateways through us.
How does it work:
We provide you with a donations page on your listing also appearing on the Online Donation page, increasing the exposure for you. Then link to this from your website as well. This means there is no need for you to develop expensive secure servers or complicated merchant facilities.
How much does it Cost:
Only annual fee and the transactions costs are applied.
For credit cards, a bank rate of 5% of each donation applies and for Debit Cards 35p per transaction. For Example: For a donation of £100 your charity receives £95 for credit cards (i.e. VISA) and £99.65 for debit cards (i.e. Switch).
Why pay monthly rental?…when one fee covers it all……
Is it secure and can I claim back Gift Aid?
Yes, all transaction are secure and safe (128 bit encryption) and offer the donor the option of using Gift Aid. The system is safe and fast, we use World pay, which is part of the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) Merchant Facilities.
How do I check the progress of Donations:
You will be able to log in with your own password and do a full audit trail.
When and how do we get the money?
Simple answer any donations made to your organisation in any week being (Monday to Sunday) will be combined and paid into your bank account every five weeks later, (minus the 5% for credit card or 35p for debit card bank charges per transaction.

If you have already registered just log into the back-office and upgrade your service or send us an email at online@britishcharities.com and we will do the rest for you.
Finally just how long will it take to set us up?
Normally not more then 48hrs.
